Penn Station East Coast Subs To Open 200th Location in South Bend, Indiana

Cincinnati, Ohio November 14, 2008 – Penn Station East Coast Subs will open its 200th restaurant, and the first in the South Bend area, the week of November 17th at 2202 South Bend Avenue, at the corner of Ironwood Road and South Bend Avenue.

This newest Penn Station restaurant features the latest décor package with a newly designed front counter and grill that actually faces the customer.  Besides speeding up service times, this new design allows customers to see their sandwiches and wraps being freshly grilled to order, right in front of them.  New crave appeal menu items like Penn Station’s sensational Hot-grilled Wraps, Sub Salads and Fresh Baked Chocolate Chunk Cookies are also featured.

“The new look of this restaurant is something you’ve really got to see”, said Todd Bookwalter, Managing owner of the Penn Station restaurant in South Bend.  “The look of our new restaurant is much more up-scale, warm and friendly.  Besides our signature Philly Cheesesteak, I’m really excited about new menu items like Wraps, Sub Salads and Chocolate Chunk Cookies”.  Most of our sandwiches can be prepared as a Wrap or as a Sub Salad.  No matter how you order it, you’ll be certain to want it again and again”.

“Penn Station’s core customer base is fiercely loyal,” says Craig Dunaway, President of Penn Station, Inc.  “It’s our high quality freshness and grilled-to-order taste that keeps our customers coming back.”
